Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose have called it quits after less than a year of marriage.
Cyrus, 62, filed for an annulment of her marriage to the 36-year-old Australian singer in May, citing “irreconcilable differences” and “improper marital conduct,” according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital.
The “Achy Breaky Heart” country singer filed a petition to dissolve their marriage in a Tennessee court last month.

Additionally, the reason for the annulment was listed as “consent to marriage was obtained by fraud.” The document listed the date of separation as May 22, 2024.
“The husband contends that he is entitled to annulment as he agreed to the marriage based on the wife’s fraudulent act and therefore would not have entered into marital relations with her had he known,” the petition states.
A representative for Cyrus did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

In an order filed May 24, Cyrus agreed to pay Firerose $500 per night for 10 nights so she could “stay in a hotel or Airbnb while she searches for a place to live during this process.”

“Thereafter, the husband shall pay the wife $5,000 per month for 90 days or until divorce, whichever occurs first, to enable the wife to obtain suitable housing in the Middle Tennessee area,” the document states.
According to the agreement, Cyrus must allow Firerose “reasonable access” to the marital residence in order for her to remove her belongings, and Firerose must provide a designated person with all of Cyrus’ social media passwords.

The former couple married in October at his estate in Tennessee, with him writing on Instagram at the time, “October 10th, 23rd will forever remain as the beautiful and joyous day our two souls were united in holy matrimony.”

“There are two old pine trees on the property. Like Tennessee“Tex (his dog) and I would go out there in the daytime, and he’d relieve himself, and we’d stretch, and I’d think about how much I miss Tennessee,” he recalled.

Cyrus has five children with ex-wife Tish Cyrus. Firerose was also previously married.
