Nathan Wade and Willis have been accused by President Trump's co-defendant Michael Roman of having an “inappropriate” and “secret” relationship, which Roman said led to the dismissal of criminal charges against him. He claims that this is the reason why.

Roman's bombshell statement comes after Nathan Wade, a private attorney with the Atlanta-based Wade & Campbell law firm, has paid for about $654,000 in legal fees collected from the Fulton County Prosecutor's Office for his work on the Trump case. They accused him of using some of the money to take Mr. Willis on luxury trips. .

Willis is also accused of hiring Wade to help prosecute the Trump case, even though he lacks the appropriate qualifications or experience to handle criminal matters.

Joycelyn Wade said Friday that her ex-husband never told her that he was working for Willis on the Trump case or how much he was making from his appointment. He claimed that he had left her with “little financial support” during this time. She and Willis took her on trips to “California, Florida, and the Caribbean.”

The filing includes bank records detailing Nathan Wade's travel expenses, including more than $800 spent at the DoubleTree Napa Valley American Canyon Hotel last May; That includes more than $3,172.20 spent on Norwegian Cruise Line in November of the previous year, as well as $370.88 spent at the nearby Hyatt Regency Aruba. simultaneous.

Joycelyn's filing came a day after Willis' lawyers filed a motion with the Atlanta prosecutor's office to halt a Jan. 23 deposition in Wade's divorce case.

Ms. Willis' lawyers argued that the subpoena should be dismissed because she was unable to provide relevant testimony, and that Ms. Willis' marriage was suspended in 2017, when Joycelyn allegedly cheated on her. He claimed that it was already over by the time he met Nathan (before he met Nathan).

Mr Hastings disputed that Mr Willis' claims that he had a full-fledged affair with Joycelyn were “false”, saying his client had “broken down on their marriage” following Nathan Wade's past infidelity. “I felt a deep sense of disconnection,” he said.

Joycelyn Wade “unfortunately reconnected with an old friend through social media and text messages,” Hastings wrote, adding that her client had never met her ex in person and that the couple had “successfully resolved this issue.” It has been resolved,” he said. This is evidenced by the fact that it was proven only after 4 years. [Nathan] I filed for divorce. ”

Mr Hastings added of the prosecution's claims:[raise] The question is whether Ms. Wills has similar detailed knowledge of marital disputes involving other special prosecutors. ”

“Her public question, 'Why that person?' seems to be met with an answer that suggests, 'Because, Mr. Wills, you're in a relationship with him, not them.' .”

Meanwhile, the Fulton County Commission announced Friday that it is investigating whether Willis misused county funds and “received valuable gifts or personal benefits” from Nathan Wade, according to the Atlanta State Attorney's Office. The Bureau has decided to respond by February 2nd.
