NFL takes Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour into account for 2024-25 schedule

So maybe it’s not all about Taylor Swift…

But what if that’s the case?

After announcing the schedule on Wednesday, the NFL announced this week that it has adjusted the schedule for Swift’s second U.S. tour of the Elas Tour during the 2024 season, the league announced.

Mike North, NFL vice president of broadcast planning, said the league needs to consider her U.S. tour dates when determining season schedules and venues. According to Fox Sports.

The Elas Tour is scheduled for Week 7, October 18-20, at Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins.

Due to the NFL schedule, the Dolphins would be on the road that week to face the Colts on October 20th.

Swift’s tour will then stop at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, home of the Saints, from October 25th to 27th.

The Saints will head west to Los Angeles to take on the Chargers in Week 8, the Swift’s final game against New Orleans.

Swift completed her second U.S. tour at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Colts, with performances from November 1st to November 3rd.

The Colts are scheduled to travel to Minnesota to face the Vikings in Week 9 to avoid a clash.

In what North called “a complete coincidence,” Swift will perform at Rogers Center, home of MLB’s Toronto Blue Jays, from November 14-16 and November 21-23. is.

Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Chiefs will play the Bills on Nov. 17 in Buffalo, about 150 miles from Toronto, in between.

The game will take place on Swift’s off night, which would theoretically make it easier for Swift to travel from Canada to Highmark Stadium in western New York.

While unintentionally contributing to the “love story,” the NFL could benefit even more from Swift’s potential attendance.

Last season, Swift reportedly generated more than $330 million in “brand value” for the NFL and the Chiefs through his relationship with Kelce.
