Gunshots rang out near the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade Wednesday, causing chaos and injuring “multiple people” nearby.
The shooting reportedly occurred just as the event was ending west of Union Station.

Two armed people were taken into custody.

According to local media reports, one person was killed and at least nine others injured in the shooting.

Chiefs fans told local media it felt like death.

Police told parade participants to leave the area immediately after the first gunshots rang out. Authorities are currently working to reunite families separated in the chaos that followed the shooting.
