10-Year-Old Girl to Graduate College: ‘I Just Enjoy Learning’

The 10-year-old California girl is scheduled to graduate from college this spring. “I just enjoy learning,” she said. “There’s so many interesting things out there.”

Learning how to read at age 2 and starting algebra at age 5, Alisa Perales began taking classes at Crafton Hills College at the age of 8 at Crafton Hills College, a community college in Yucaipa, California. Report ABC7 wwsb.

“It’s so much fun for me,” Perales told the outlet. “It’s almost as fun as playing outside, riding a bike, doing anything. I enjoy learning. There’s a lot of interesting things there.”

The 10-year-old from San Bernardino has been a month away from her two-year university and is currently waiting to see if she is accepted by Stanford University.

After graduating from Crafton Hills College in May, he turned 11 at the time of the ceremony, but will receive two associate science degrees in multiple science at his final GPA.

Additionally, Perales could have won two more degrees in computer science and physics.

“I believe in my dad that he does his best to do well in school and work hard,” Perales told IECN.

The outlet reported that his 10-year-old father, Rafael Perales, led his daughter to expand his knowledge from his first birthday, moving beyond the basic ABC and 123 generations.

“She was a little different for the rest of her life, but I’ve always taught her there’s nothing you can’t understand,” Raphael said.

“Before she started with Clafton, I explained that she was going to be around many older children, but she didn’t seem to be threatened by that,” her father continued. “She seemed to fit perfectly, so I just followed my daughter’s lead.”

“I didn’t let her adhere to the strict schedule I set for her,” he added. “I responded to what she was interested in, supplied that interest, and burned the fire. And her interest in the school remained strong.”

As for Perales, she hopes to one day work in the AI industry and be hired for an already established company or build a startup with her father.
