Authorities reportedly discovered that one of the men frequently displayed emojis associated with TDA gang members on his TikTok account profile. Emoji included a ninja, crossed swords, and a building.

According to KPRC, the search warrant stated that “TdA uses certain slang and emojis to identify themselves in their communications with each other.”

Authorities also noted that the account contained messages in Spanish that suggested “TdA gang membership” and described it as a “call to domestic and international members.”

Investigators said additional indicators were also found on the account, including specific clothing, shoes and hand signals, which also suggested a connection to TDA.

On a social media account believed to belong to Peña, law enforcement found a video of him with two stars tattooed on his shoulder and a rose tattooed on his hand, both symbols often associated with gangs.

Jocelyn's mother, Alexis Nungarai, told KPRC: “These people are monsters, they do heinous things, they have no heart, they have no compassion for anyone, they are evil people.'' It feels more realistic.”

“We don't have to bury our children at all. They're supposed to bury us,” she continued. “This proves that they are very scary people, and… it wasn't just an over-the-top accident.”

“I needed to turn my pain into power and make a change,” she added. “I will fight to the death for her.”
