A joint federal operation in Washington, DC has arrested 14 members of the infamous Venezuela Tren DeLagua (TDA) gang. Authorities have arrested an illegal foreigner suspected of being a member of the Salvador Mala Salbatrucha (MS-13), according to US Border Patrol Chief Michael W. Banks.
On Friday, the bank announced the results of the surgery that specifically targeted alleged gang members involved in ongoing criminal activity. One firearm was recovered, in addition to 15 illegal aliens suspected of being members of the TDA and MS-13 gang. The activities in gang activities in the country's capital involved agents from the US Border Patrol Special Operations Group (BORTAC) and national gang units of the Border Patrol.
The bank said the business was coordinated with special agents in the FBI and DHS Homeland Security Investigation. Late February, US Department of State announcement Both Venezuela's Tren de Aragua and the MS-13 gang have been designated as foreign terrorist organizations (FTOs).
In addition to TDA and MS-13, the Trump administration has designated several Mexican drug cartels as FTOs during the announcement. Mexican drug cartels named in the announcement include Cartel de Sinaloa, Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generacation (CJNG), Cartel del Noreste (CDN), Ranueva Familia Michoacana (LNFM), Cartel del Golfo (CDG) and Cartel Unidos (CU).
The bank did not provide information on whether the latest Tren de Aragua illegal alien who was arrested will be expelled to El Salvador under the alien enemy laws or whether they will face criminal charges in the United States. On Saturday, the Trump administration took more than 200 suspicious Tren de Aragua members to El Salvador's famous largest security semi-prison prison.
Despite efforts by a US District judge to halt the removal of suspicious gang members by granting a temporary suspension of expulsion orders, the plane carrying illegal Venezuelan aliens was already outside international airspace and safely landed in El Salvador.
Friday's Multi-Parliamentary deportation operation targeting illegal alien gang members was the latest in a string of operations that turned serious criminal offenders into NABs in multiple cities across the country.
As reported by Breitbart Texas, deportation operations led to 81 illegal aliens arrests in Kentucky in the beginning of March. Twenty-five of those arrested in the operation are currently facing federal criminal charges.
A series of similar federal immigration operations in New Mexico have arrested several illegal aliens, including some of the serious firearm possession crimes. In addition to the four suspects charged with weapons-related crimes, 48 other illegal aliens have been arrested statewide, including some previously convicted of serious criminal offences.
