A 15-year-old boy is hospitalized in critical condition after a shootout between police officers and unknown people near Six Flags Over Georgia on Saturday.
WSB TV report Around 6:15 p.m., police were called to report an “unruly crowd” of more than 500 people fighting near the entrance to Six Flags.
As officers followed the crowd out of the park, “multiple suspects fired shots at officers in the road outside the property.”
AL.com I got it. Officers returned fire and the 15-year-old boy was shot and killed. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
ANF shown Six Flags Over Georgia noted that “the shooting occurred on nearby South Service Road, which is not owned or operated by the theme park.”
