2 girls — just 11 and 13 years old — arrested for brutally assaulting woman outside DC train station, police say

A young girl, just 11 and 13, has been arrested for brutally assaulting a woman outside the Union Station in Washington, DC. WRC-TV reportedQuote the police.

The WRC, citing DC police, noted that social media videos showed a group of women repeatedly punched and kicked the women after they left the station.

“In our city, there is absolutely zero tolerance to this behavior. To hurt our community in this way will lead to your arrest and prosecution, regardless of your age.

Detectives identified the two girls and arrested them Thursday, police told WRC.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the assault to call 202-727-9099 or text 50411 with tips, WRC added. Police are offering rewards of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and prosecution of the responsible person.
