2 Massachusetts men arrested for flying drone ‘dangerously close’ to Boston airport

Two Massachusetts men have been charged with flying a drone “dangerously close” to Boston's Logan International Airport, police said.

Robert Duffy, 42, of Boston's Charlestown neighborhood, and Jeremy Forcik, 32, of Bridgewater, were taken into custody late Saturday night on Long Island on the approach to the airport, Boston police said. Ta.

“The incident occurred at 4:30 p.m. that evening, when Boston Police Department officers specializing in real-time crime surveillance spotted a dangerously active unmanned aircraft system (UAS) near Logan International Airport,” police said in a statement.
