The disease was determined not to be Ebola after fire officials consulted with the city’s Department of Health, according to the FDNY.
It’s unclear what their conditions are and what disease they may have.
“Neither patient had exposure to Ebola or other factors that would indicate risk,” New York City Acting Health Commissioner Dr. Michelle Morse wrote on X. “The NYC Health Department is in close communication with FDNY, CityMD and NYC Health + Hospitals.”
