2 suspects arrested in connection with death of man whose body was found in burning Phoenix trash receptacle

Two suspects have been arrested when the body was found in a burning trash can in downtown Phoenix, officials said.

Phoenix Police said both Larry DeShawn Scott, 23, and Isaiah Baskin, 18, were booked into jail on Saturday.

The charges were not immediately released, but police said the incident was being investigated as a homicide.

On Sunday, it was unclear whether either Scott or Baskin still had an attorney.

Arizona State Police have arrested two suspects in connection with the death of a man whose body was found in a burning trash can.

Police say the bodies in the bins were badly burned and their identities have yet to be determined.

The victim was taken to the Maricopa County Forensic Center for testing.

Police were called out on Tuesday over a body believed to have been set on fire.
