On Friday's broadcast of HBO's “Real Time,” host Bill Maher said the 2024 election is “just…this country is tired of this anti-common sense bullshit,” and vice president Kamala Harris. joked that “voter turnout is still very high.'' Some illegal immigrant prisoners who want sex-reassignment surgery are completely on her side.”
In his opening monologue, Maher said: “Kamala did poorly in all demographics, but she still has high approval ratings among undocumented immigrant prisoners who want sex-reassignment surgery, and they're totally on her side. Don't get me wrong. Please, this election is exactly what I've been saying here, and I've lost a lot of fans by saying for years that this country has had enough of this anti-common sense bullshit. And here in L.A., Prop. 36 was passed, which made shoplifting, which we thought was just a misdemeanor, become a felony again. People, even liberal LA, said, look, here's the idea, instead of locking up toothpaste, why don't we lock up shoplifters? … San Francisco had a very woke mayor named London Breed. She lost. Even the ultra-liberals of San Francisco were fed up with homelessness, public drug use, and defecating in the streets, but now London Breed is synonymous with she/gone. .”
