The 2025 Cannes Film Festival Kicks Off

The 2025 Cannes Film Festival officially kicked off on May 13th, marking the beginning of an 11-day display of some highly anticipated films. This event is always a buzz with fashion and red carpet styles, that’s for sure.

This year, Cannes has instituted a ban on full nudity and large ensembles. They stated, “For reasons of decorum, nude outfits are not allowed on the red carpet or in other areas of the festival. Outfits with large trains can also make it hard for guests to move around smoothly in the theater.” Furthermore, the festival teams are required to deny access to those who don’t adhere to these guidelines.
