College Football National Championship: Favorites

After spending most of last season atop the odds board and narrowly missing the playoffs, Georgia is once again a favorite to win this season.

Carson Beck, FanDuel's No. 2 Heisman Trophy candidate, returns to the Bulldogs for his second season as the full-time starter in Athens.

Ohio State, in his sixth year under coach Ryan Day, is the No. 2 favorite to win the championship as the Buckeyes search for their first title in a decade.

They were pretty active in the transfer portal this offseason in an effort to get back to the College Football Playoff.

Despite its significant recent success, Oregon, which is still seeking its first national championship in school history, rounds out the top three.

The Ducks have a new quarterback in former Oklahoma star Dillon Gabriel leading the way.

Texas is the only team with better than 10/1 odds to finish 12-2 in 2023, its best season in 14 years. The Longhorns retained star quarterback Quinn Ewers this offseason.

Despite the departure of legendary coach Nick Saban, Alabama remains one of the top teams to win the championship, with former Washington coach Cullen DeBoer currently leading the team.

Lane Kiffin's Ole Miss Rebels are tied with the Crimson Tide for the sixth-best odds at +1400.

Defending champion Michigan is looking to win its second consecutive championship in coach Jim Harbaugh's first season, and is listed as the odds-on favorite at 30/1.
