The Denver Broncos were not really expected to be playoff contenders in the 2024 season. In fact, prior to it, NFL.com estimated they would only win about 6.4 games.
But as it turned out, rookie quarterback Bonnix surpassed all expectations, leading the team to a surprising 10 wins, including a dominant performance against the Buccaneers and a 38-0 win over the Chiefs, who rested their starters before the playoffs.
Unfortunately, the Broncos had some hiccups in crucial regular season matchups against strong opponents like the Steelers, Ravens, and a fully loaded Chiefs team.
To bolster their chances for the 2025 season, manager Sean Payton and the front office addressed key needs during the offseason. They brought in tight end Evan Engram, wide receiver Torrenshirefield Senior, linebacker Dregreenrow, and safety Taranor Fuwhanga. Plus, they drafted cornerback Jahdae Barron from Texas.
With the 2025 schedule now officially revealed, fans can look forward to some exciting matchups. Notable games include a high-stakes clash against the Dallas Cowboys on October 26, a meeting with AFC champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, on November 16, and a Super Bowl rematch with the Green Bay Packers on December 14.
Additionally, early in the season, the Broncos will take on the New York Jets in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on October 12.
