The 2025 NFL Playoffs began on Saturday with the first of six games during Wild Card Weekend. The 12 teams began the process of finding six teams to join the two top-seeded teams in the divisional round.

The Chiefs will know their opponent by Sunday afternoon, while the Lions will know their opponent by the end of Monday night.
We will update this bracket until the field of 8 is finalized. Divisional round games will be held next Saturday and Sunday, with one game from each conference on each day. It's safe to say that the game involving the winner of Monday's Vikings vs. Rams game will be Sunday's NFC game.
AFC playoff bracket
The Chiefs earned the No. 1 seed for the second time in three seasons. They won the championship on Christmas night and have been resting players since Week 18. We won't know who the opponents will be in the divisional round until after Sunday's Broncos-Bills game. If the Bills beat the Broncos, the Chiefs will face the Texans. If the Broncos beat the Bills, Kansas City and Denver will face off next weekend.
The Texans defeated the Chargers 32-12 to open the Wild Card Round. The Ravens followed that up with a 28-14 win over the Steelers. The bracket remains largely undecided as the opponents won't be known until Sunday.

NFC playoff bracket
The Lions won 15 games on the season, bettering their previous best of 12 and clinching the No. 1 seed for the first time in franchise history. They've been plagued by a lot of injuries this season, but now they'll be hoping to get David Montgomery back in the divisional round. Barring an upset in the wild-card round, Detroit won't know its first opponent until after Monday's wild-card game. The NFC's wild-card round schedule doesn't begin until Sunday.
