NFL Trade Deadline Update

The 2025 NFL Trade Deadline is quickly approaching. Teams have until Tuesday, November 4th at 4 PM ET to finalize their trades.

We’re tracking every move leading up to the deadline. Some teams are gearing up for a playoff push while others seem to be looking ahead to the 2026 NFL Draft.

The details of the trades are outlined below.

Dolphins Trade EDGE Jaelan Phillips to Eagles

Howie Roseman is still actively looking to enhance Philadelphia’s defense.

After considering various pass rushers, including Myles Garrett, Roseman managed to bring Jaelan Phillips from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick. This move reunites Phillips with defensive coordinator Vic Fangio. In the 2023 season, he had 6.5 sacks over eight games before suffering a torn Achilles tendon.

For the Dolphins, this trade could signal a shift in their overall strategy, especially after letting go of general manager Chris Grier. Under interim GM Champ Kelly, the team might be focusing more on the long term.

Ravens Trade CB Jaire Alexander to Eagles

Just two days after trading for a cornerback, the Eagles have added another one to their roster.

Howie Roseman exchanged a 2026 sixth-round pick with the Baltimore Ravens for veteran cornerback Jaire Alexander. He joined the Ravens in June but has only played in two games this season.

Jets Trade CB Michael Carter to Eagles for WR John Metchie III

In another move, the Eagles traded wide receiver John Metchie III and a 2027 sixth-round pick to the Jets for cornerback Michael Carter II and a 2027 seventh-round pick.

Philadelphia already has promising young cornerbacks in Kunyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, but they’re looking to bolster their lineup. So far this season, Adoree Jackson and Kelly Lingo have filled the role opposite Mitchell, but Carter could take that position while DeJean is sidelined.

Patriots Trade S Kyle Dugger to Steelers

The New England Patriots are shipping safety Kyle Dugger and a seventh-round pick to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a sixth-round pick.

Dugger was signed to a four-year extension worth up to $58 million in April 2024, but he has struggled with the changes in the defensive scheme under head coach Mike Vrabel.

Pittsburgh lost safety DeShon Elliott due to a foot injury in a recent loss to the Green Bay Packers, which might sideline Elliott for the rest of the season.

Patriots Trade EDGE Keon White to 49ers

The deal involving Dugger wasn’t New England’s only trade on Tuesday. The Patriots also sent pass rusher Keon White to the 49ers, accompanied by a 2026 seventh-round pick in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick.

White recorded five sacks last season, and the 49ers are in urgent need of defensive reinforcements after losing Nick Bosa to a knee injury for the season.

Titans Trade CB Roger McCreary to Rams

The Tennessee Titans are beginning to rebuild for next season by trading cornerback Roger McCreary to the Los Angeles Rams.

This trade gives Tennessee a conditional 2026 fifth-round pick and provides the Rams with a conditional 2026 sixth-round pick in addition to the cornerback. Reportedly, the Titans are likely to receive the earliest fifth-round pick from the Rams, which could be linked to an earlier deal.
