We’re just two weeks into the 2025 NFL season.
Which means, well, it’s mock draft season.
As 10 teams currently sit at 0-2, fans are starting to hit the panic button. And that’s quite understandable.
Just a quick note on methodology. The draft order is based on the current Super Bowl odds as listed by Fanduel on September 17. If there’s a tie, the NFL has specific rules for determining draft orders, which can be found on their site. The Buffalo Bills currently have the second best Super Bowl odds, with the Baltimore Ravens leading the pack, and that informed our pick order.
The Bills were placed 30th since the two AFC teams are not headed to the Super Bowl, while the Dallas Cowboys, thanks to a trade involving Micah Parsons and the Green Bay Packers, are moved to 31st.
Mark Scofield and James Deuter made selections and kicked off the order together with the New York Giants.
So, without further ado, here are some picks along with a few thoughts on notable choices.

1. New York Giants: Spencer Fano, OT, Utah
If the Giants land the first pick, that could mean changes are coming for Brian Daboll and Joe Shane. While there’s also the potential for a quarterback here, keeping whoever is under center, perhaps Jaxson Dart, protected will be paramount. Fano is versatile, having played both tackle positions with great effectiveness.
2. New Orleans Saints: Garrett Nussmeier, QB, LSU
This one seems obvious. Quarterback needs are still being evaluated, but Nussmeier is emerging as the frontrunner. Being a Louisiana native, a star at LSU, and with his father as the Saints’ offensive coordinator, this pick seems pretty straightforward.
8. Las Vegas Raiders: Arch Manning, QB, Texas
This is definitely intriguing. Manning hasn’t secured a top-three spot yet, but Las Vegas seems like a fitting spot for a big personality. They’ve historically been a team looking to make a splash, and with Tom Brady’s influence, this move makes some sense.
9. New England Patriots: Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona
New England has made some good additions around Drake May this offseason, but they still need to enhance their receiving corps. Tyson could be an asset to their wide receiver group.
13. Dallas Cowboys: Jeremiah Love, RB, Notre Dame
This choice feels quintessentially Jerry Jones. It would indeed be a strong pick for the Cowboys.
24. San Francisco 49ers: Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon
Blockers are crucial for Kyle Shanahan’s system, and Sadiq holds a lot of potential akin to George Kittle, though injuries have slowed him down.
25. Los Angeles Rams: John Mateer, QB, Oklahoma
With Matthew Stafford aging, adding a quarterback should be a priority for the Rams. They have some valuable picks, allowing them options, and Mateer could fit well with Sean McVay.
27. Detroit Lions: CJ Allen, LB, Georgia
The pairing of Jack Campbell and CJ Allen would be quite impressive, especially with potential needs arising in the linebacker position.
30. Buffalo Bills: Makai Lemon, WR, USC
While Keon Coleman has shown promise, the Bills could still benefit from adding more weapons for Josh Allen. Lemon could bring the dynamic speed they currently lack.
32. Baltimore Ravens: Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State
Do the Ravens need another linebacker? Not necessarily. However, they tend to go for the best available player rather than filling specific needs.
