Attorney General Pam Bondy and FBI Director Kash Patel announced on Wednesday that 205 individuals involved in online child exploitation were apprehended last week.
This was part of a new initiative from the Department of Justice called “Operation Restoration Judiciary,” which successfully rescued 115 children across the nation, as stated by Bondy and Patel.
Bondy described the operation as “historic” and “unprecedented.”
“If convicted, these individuals will face serious penalties, including substantial fines and prison time,” Bondy mentioned during a press briefing.
“We will find you. We will arrest you and bring charges. If you’re a threat to children, there’s no escape from us. The FBI and the Department of Justice will be on your trail, and we will prosecute you.”
