Authorities say a 21-year-old man was shot in the head and killed in a daytime attack at a Brooklyn auto repair shop on Tuesday.
According to the NYPD, the victim was shot by an unknown assailant at Robell Auto Repair Shop on Messerol Street in Williamsburg around 2:15pm.
The motive behind the murder is not immediately known, and it is unclear whether the victim and suspect know each other.
The unknown victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in dangerous conditions, where he was declared dead, officers said.
According to the NYPD, the shooter was wearing all the black, including a face mask, and escaped Messerol Street on a scooter.
No arrests have been made. The NYPD says an investigation is ongoing.
