22-year-old TikTok user reportedly shot and killed Marine veteran in front of his fiancée and 10-month-old child, according to police.

There are troubling reports about a TikTok user who allegedly shot and killed a Marine veteran, Anthony Sanders, while he was with his fiancée and young son. Afterwards, he seemingly posted about the incident on his TikTok account.

Justin Guzman, a 22-year-old aspiring influencer, turned himself in to police in Houston early last month following the shooting. This senseless act took place on June 3, and Sanders, aged 30, tragically lost his life. The details about the case have been covered extensively.

During a court hearing, Sanders’ parents, both veterans themselves, presented evidence that included TikTok videos uploaded by Guzman. The father, Frank Sanders, expressed their commitment to seeking justice for their son, stating, “This was not asked.”

Reportedly, on the day of the shooting, Sanders confronted Guzman and his accomplice, Marco Sinan, who is 23, in a Galleria Mall parking garage. This confrontation allegedly happened after the pair insulted Sanders’ fiancée in an elevator where she worked.

After the verbal altercation, Sanders tried to leave the scene with his fiancé and their ten-month-old son. However, it’s claimed that Guzman blocked him in with his car, leading to an escalation. When Sanders got out of his vehicle, he was shot multiple times while his family sought shelter inside their car.

Sanders’ father felt relief that his son managed to escape the vehicle before the shots rang out.

Police apprehended Guzman, Sinan, and another individual shortly after the incident, but they were released later. Sinan was taken into custody again on June 25.

Guzman’s attorney stated that the shooting was an act of self-defense, alleging that Sanders had pulled out a knife during the confrontation. However, reports indicate that officers found no weapon at the scene.

Guzman is currently being held on a $750,000 bond, while Sinan, who has a prior criminal record, faces a bond set at $1 million.

Guzman and Sinan have appeared in various TikTok videos together, with Guzman’s account having over 50,000 followers. Some of their content has been deemed tasteless, including videos where they mimic gun actions at the camera.
