24 American Soldiers Injured In Iraq, Syria U.S. Base Drone Attacks

Twenty Americans were injured in drone attacks on US military bases in Iraq and Syria.


U.S. military officials announced that the largest attack on a U.S. facility occurred on October 18th.thA number of one-way drones attacked al-Tanf garrison in southeastern Syria, leaving 20 soldiers with “light injuries.”

Officials said all injured personnel have now returned to duty.

On the same day, multiple drones attacked the Ain al-Asad air base in western Iraq in two separate attacks targeting the United States and its allies, injuring four people.

On the same day, an American citizen working as a contractor suffered a cardiac arrest and died during a shelter-in-place order at the facility.

Brigadier General Patrick Ryder, a Pentagon spokesperson, spoke on the matter.

“What we are seeing is the potential for even more significant escalation from Iranian proxies, and ultimately from Iran, against U.S. forces and U.S. military personnel across the region in the very near future,” Ryder said. said.

According to officials, on October 19th,thAmerican and coalition forces were hit by rocket attacks in three locations, but no one was injured or any buildings were damaged.

of washington post said the three sites targeted that day were Mission Support Center Euphrates in Syria, Ain al-Asad Air Base in Iraq, and the Baghdad Diplomatic Support Center in Iraq.

Additionally, additional strikes were launched over the next three days, with one-way drones targeting uninhabited areas of Bashur, Iraq, and again bombing Ain al-Assad and al-Tanf.
