Charges Against New Jersey Woman for Child Sexual Assault

Authorities have announced that a woman from New Jersey is facing charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a child and recording the abuse. Reports indicate that Victoria Ann Cranmer, 25, from Little Egg Harbor, has been charged with sexual assault, as well as endangering the welfare of a child, and both manufacturing and possessing child sexual abuse material.

According to the Ocean County Department of Corrections, the investigation was triggered by incidents involving children under 13 earlier this year. A search warrant reportedly uncovered more footage of Cranmer and the child in a bathroom setting.

The details emerged from a probable cause affidavit that was filed at the time of her arrest. It was noted that Cranmer lived with an individual identified as Ms. P, who provided her with an iPhone and was responsible for paying the phone bill.

Months later, after Cranmer was asked to return her phone, Ms. P discovered the disturbing video stored on it. The affidavit described the contents of the video, where the boy is seen interacting with Cranmer while she was sitting on the toilet. Notably, Ms. P recognized Cranmer in the video due to distinct tattoos and her voice.

Documents indicate that while residing with Ms. P, Cranmer often babysat her children. However, Ms. P began noticing unusual behavior in her young son, particularly an aversion to bath time, which led her to learn that Cranmer had been bathing with him.

After the charges were formally approved by prosecutors on July 7, Cranmer was arrested and is currently detained at the Ocean County Jail, awaiting further court proceedings. As of now, she has no listed bond or hearing information.
