Even a hefty seven-figure sum won’t secure a spot at Michael Rubin’s highly exclusive white parties.
A source familiar with Will Makris, a hospitality entrepreneur and one of Rubin’s close friends, shared with the California Post that members of Makris’ Zero Bond Social Club offered him $2 million for invitations and plus-ones to these sought-after midsummer gatherings, but that offer was declined.
Sources indicated that the suggestion was actually met with laughter, with some calling Rubin’s attendance at the all-white events “something money can’t buy.”
The guest list for this annual affair, typically hosted at Rubin’s sprawling Hamptons estate, is usually capped at around 375 of the world’s biggest stars and athletes.
Notable past attendees have included Tom Brady, Kim Kardashian, Drake, Libby Dunn, Kendall Jenner, Travis Scott, Derek Jeter, Odell Beckham Jr., and Rob Gronkowski, among others.
This glamorous event, which usually takes place just around Independence Day, has been rescheduled to July 1st this year, aiming to avoid any overlap with Taylor Swift’s wedding and the UFC’s previously scheduled event on Independence Day.
According to the newspaper, celebrities are expected to arrive in the Hamptons on June 30, kicking off the festivities with a barbecue hosted by Rubin.
The White Party itself is set to start at 5 PM the next day and will continue until 6 AM on July 2nd.
Organizing such a large gathering is no small feat, but it seems that it won’t be the highlight of Rubin’s summer events. He is also slated to host Fanatics Fest, beginning on July 16 in New York City, featuring stars like LeBron James, Aaron Judge, and Joe Burrow.
