Netflix renews dystopian thriller 3. Physical issues Two more seasons.
The streamer announced that seasons two and three will see the show “tell the complete story of the groundbreaking book series.”
The platform’s pre-release presentation previously announced that the show would feature “all-new episodes,” but no further details were revealed at the time.
The number of seasons corresponds to the number of books in Liu Cixin’s trilogy on which the series is based.
According to a Netflix press release, screenwriter D.B. Weiss game of thrones) said: [novels by Cixin Liu] “Season 1, Season 2 is a big part of why we wanted to make this show. We always wanted to get to the final page of Volume 3, and we’re really excited to be able to do that.”
3. Physical issues It tells the story of a young Chinese woman named Ye Wenjie (Rosalind Chao) whose actions in the 1960s had a profound impact on the lives of scientists today.
The series also stars Jovan Adepo, John Bradley, Liam Cunningham, Eiza Gonzalez, Jess Hong, Mario Kelly, Benedict Wong and Jonathan Pryce.
Benioff, Weiss and Alexander Wu, who have a deal with Netflix, serve as creators, writers and executive producers on the series. Bernadette Caulfield, Rian Johnson, Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Lin Qi, Zhao Zhilong and Brad Pitt also serve as executive producers on the show.
Dede Gardner’s Plan B Entertainment and Jeremy Kleiner’s company will produce Primitive Streak with Rosamund Pike and Robbie Uniack.
