Nevertheless, it maintains much of what has made Paddington the most live-action family-friendly franchise in recent film history: Charms. The family film genre is dominated by titles that rely on irony, playful putdowns and slapstick violence. But Paddington rejects all three and replaces them with a quiet power of sincerity, love, and kindness.

The clever and whimsical humor of the first two films is back Paddington, Peru. But not everything is the same. Actress Sally Hawkins was replaced by Emily Mortimer, who brilliantly portrayed Mrs. Brown in the first two films. Thankfully, the rest of the cast including Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey) Returns as Mr. Brown and Ben Whishaw as Paddington's voice.
The final moments of this film provide one of the warmest and most heartfelt pro-adoption messages you'll ever witness.
Let's hope that the next release will find Paddington in London. But in just one movie, it's an epic adventure worth taking.
