Just before 6 a.m. on Labor Day, four people were shot and killed while sleeping on a commuter train in Chicago, run by Mayor Brandon Johnson (Democrat).
NBC News Reported Security camera footage showed the victims “appeared to be asleep and were sitting apart from each other.”
The shooting happened “on a Blue Line train heading toward the suburb of Forest Park, west of downtown,” CNN reported. attentionThe victims were in two separate vehicles, one with three people in it and the other with one victim in it.
It is believed the shooting victim may have been homeless.
The suspect in the shooting was arrested about 90 minutes after the attack and the weapon was recovered.
Breitbart News noted that at least 17 people were shot in Chicago between Friday and Sunday night over Labor Day weekend, three of them fatally.
