Half of the 48 potential jurors in the second round of Trump hush money lawsuits on Thursday were immediately excused on the grounds that they could not be fair and impartial.
Of the 48 people exempted for failing to act fairly and impartially, 23 were men and 25 were women. Approximately 15 people appear to be non-white, according to court reports.
This means that half of the 96 potential jurors summoned said they could not be fair and impartial jurors in the case, which is the lowest of the original jurors. That’s about the same number of candidates who said they would not be a fair and impartial juror on Monday. in.
On Thursday, nine more people were removed from the second pool for other reasons, leaving 39 people to continue questioning as potential jurors.

Former Bush assistant attorney general John Yoo told Fox News on Monday that it was “highly unusual” that half of the jury was too biased against Trump to serve on the jury. That’s what he said.
“I think it only furthers Donald Trump’s argument that courts and prosecutors are biased and unfair and that their public integrity should be questioned,” he said.
Six jurors have been selected so far. Six more players are needed, and six substitutes are also needed.
