DeMordore Lenoir Arrested in Los Angeles

San Francisco 49ers cornerback DeMordore Lenoir was taken into custody in Los Angeles on Thursday and faces charges of misdemeanor resisting arrest, as stated by the Los Angeles Police Department.

The 49ers acknowledged the situation in a statement, saying they are aware of Lenoir’s issues and are currently gathering more details.

According to reports, the police were called to the scene, where they found two vehicles obstructing traffic. When the officers approached Lenoir and another individual, Marcus Cunningham, they noted a firearm inside Cunningham’s vehicle. Lenoir allegedly refused to comply when asked to hand over his car keys.

Lenoir is set to appear in court in July, coinciding with the expected start of training camp for the team.

Drafted in 2021 from Oregon as a fifth-round pick, Lenoir has played four seasons with the 49ers. Recently, he signed a five-year extension worth $92 million. In his time with the team, he has achieved six interceptions, 26 pass deflections, and compiled 265 tackles.
