Niners Nation Welcomes New Baby Girl Ahead of Playoff Game

The San Francisco 49ers have a new family member just in time for the weekend’s playoff match. Fred Warner and his wife shared the heartwarming news on Wednesday.

In an Instagram post, they announced the arrival of their first daughter, who they’ve named Vera Nicole Warner. Sydney Warner expressed how thrilled both parents are to finally hold their little one.

“Our daughter is safe, healthy, and deeply loved,” Sydney wrote. She also expressed gratitude, saying, “Thank you, God, for your blessings, strength, and countless prayers that supported us as we were young. We are finally home and a family of four!✨”

Sydney included several photos, capturing moments from the birth process. One endearing image showed Fred holding Vera close to him.

A touching video shared by Sydney depicted Fred gently pushing their daughter down the hospital corridor, adding to the sentimental atmosphere of their announcement.

The couple received an outpouring of congratulations in the comments section, including a message from Jenna, the wife of quarterback Brock Purdy.

This marks the Warner family’s second child—they welcomed a son back in March 2024. Looking ahead, the 49ers are set to face off against the Eagles for a postseason game on Sunday. Unfortunately, their kids won’t see Fred in action just yet, as he continues to recover from a dislocated fracture in his right ankle sustained during Week 6.

However, Niners head coach Kyle Shanahan mentioned there’s still a chance Fred could make a return if the team keeps advancing in the playoffs.
