Officers were called to a report of a shooting at 5:44 p.m. and found a man dead inside a residence. Police said in a news release that officers investigating his death went to a home several blocks away and found three other people dead.

Police said an officer patrolling the area looked into the window of a third home and saw a fifth victim.

“Five victims have died as a result of the shooting,” Sullivan told reporters. “We believe that the investigation will reveal that one of these victims was the person who shot and killed all of the other victims.”
