The troublesome trends in the body of Christ today are that Bible illiteracy. Many people are Christians and profess to love God, but their knowledge of the Bible is minimal. Aside from understanding their favorite poems, they know nothing else about what the rest of the Bible has to say! Considering this topic, we consider two reasons why there is illiteracy in the Bible. 1) believers are inconsistent with readings of the Bible, and 2) preachers who do not preach the Bible correctly.
Such consequences of illiteracy in the Bible range from removing the Bible from the context to accepting false teachings. If anything, even if biblical poems are used, the two go hand in hand as false teachings distort what God's Word says. Therefore, we need to go back to consistent Bible reading To be able to do it Grow with proper understanding. Ultimately, the Bible helps us grow Knowledge of Who is God, especially as we want to grow in our faith?
