The SEC just got shook up!
Rated as a 5-star wide receiver out of Ackerman, Mississippi and listed as the Class of 2025’s 16th overall player (No. 2 WR), Caleb Cunningham is taking his talents to Oxford to play for the University of Mississippi and become a Rebel. But it’s deeper than that, as Cunningham was originally committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide, but has now flipped his commitment to their hated SEC rival.
On3’s Hayes Fawcett was the first to report the news.

I don’t wanna clown Alabama too much for this because they still have 2025’s second-best recruiting class, but I will say this: Nick Saban would have never let this happen. And it’s not even that the Tide are losing Cunningham to Ole Miss, it’s not even that they’re losing him to a conference rival, what gets me the most is that they’re losing him to Lane Kiffin.
From behind the scenes, you know that’s gotta irk Saban a little bit, especially with all of the tension in their past.
