Biblical femininity is part of God's beautiful and purposeful plan. But it will look very different from the ways of this world.
Feminism asks us to focus on equality and the ability to make changes for what we deem to be the better.
But sadly, it makes a mockery of what God has already established and established in His Word. While feminism calls for equal rights for men and women, God declares that we are each created uniquely and that being equal does not necessarily mean we need the same things. .
All women are called to be obedient and virtuous mothers, and while there is still an argument that such a happy housewife is somehow a bad thing, let me say this: God I never said all women have to get married. I have children and serve only within the household.
Each woman is called by God to use her gifts and talents to serve Him according to His will. It could be getting married and having children, or it could be remaining single and living a purposeful life for the Lord.
It could be raising a family at home or working outside the home. One is not better than the other if we seek wisdom and discernment and align our lives with God's will.
Proverbs 31 It's not the only thing that depicts femininity. Let's take a deeper look at what God's Word says about being a woman of God.
1 Timothy 3:11 It teaches us that we must be honorable and self-disciplined.
Ruth 3:11 It sets a great example of living without fear.
1 Peter 3:3-4 We are asked to focus less on our outer beauty and more on being gentle and quiet so that God can teach us our worth.
As followers of Christ, we must accept God's view of His beloved sons and daughters. It is clear that God considers men and women to be equal, valuable, valuable, and loved.
God created each of us with a specific purpose and allows us to use our roles to bring glory to God through His perfect family design.
When we seek God's will for our lives, we can serve Him through the gifts He has graciously given us.
So instead of focusing on the terms created by the world, let's look to the spoken word hidden within the precious pages of the Bible.
