67% Disapprove of Joe Biden’s Economy, Top 2024 Issue

A recent CNN poll found that 67% of Americans disapprove of President Joe Biden's economy, making it the most important issue heading into the 2024 election, and that the president's so-called “Bidenomics” is taking shape. This has sparked concerns among Democrats that they have failed to achieve significant results.

Biden's economic approval rating in November was the second lowest since he took office. poll found:

  • November 2023: 33%
  • October 2023: 36%
  • May 2023: 34%
  • December 2022: 36%
  • June 2022: 30%
  • December 2021: 45%
  • March 2021: 49%

The economy ranked as the most important issue.

  • Economy: 42%
  • Immigration: 12%
  • Foreign policy: 10%
  • Partisanship: 6%
  • Crime rate: 6%
