Seven people were killed and several injured in a bus accident in Mississippi.

Seven people were killed and 37 injured when a commercial bus overturned on Interstate 20 early Saturday morning, the Mississippi Highway Patrol reported.
Six passengers were pronounced dead at the scene, and one died at a hospital, according to a news release.
The bus was traveling westbound when it went off the highway near Bovina in Warren County and overturned. Only one other vehicle was involved in the accident.
“Six passengers were pronounced dead at the scene, one died at Merit Health Hospital in Vicksburg,” officials said in a statement. “Thirty-seven passengers were transported to separate hospitals in Vicksburg and Jackson with injuries of unknown severity. The front seat driver was not transported.”
“This accident remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol and the Commercial Traffic Enforcement Division,” the Mississippi Highway Patrol added.
The 37 passengers were taken to hospitals in Jackson and Vicksburg.
The identity of the person who died has not been released as police continue to investigate, but Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey said: Fox News Digital Two of the victims were brothers, aged 6 and 16.
