Given that Harris holds the second-highest position in the current administration, these numbers do not bode well for her.
But just under six in 10 respondents said they were at least somewhat concerned that the incoming Trump administration would move the United States closer to authoritarianism, and just under half said the same about Harris.
In battleground states, the top issue among voters remained within 5 points of the national average, and abortion rates never exceeded 15%.
