80-year-old actor Danny Trejo starts wild brawl at July 4th parade after getting hit with water balloon: ‘Blood everywhere’

Small Town Independence Day Parade Confusion This happened after someone threw a water balloon at actor Danny Trejo and he confronted the man.

Cellphone video showed the 80-year-old Trejo getting out of a vintage convertible to look for balloon throwers at the celebration in the Sunland-Tujunga neighborhood. Trejo was a guest of the parade.

“Fights were going on, people were falling down and there was blood everywhere.”

Trejo stomps into the crowd and confronts the man, then gets hit with a second water balloon and punches the man, who then attacks Trejo, knocking him to the street, Trejo gets up and knocks the man down with a chair.

A man runs over to try to help Trejo, but is hit twice and falls to the ground, at which point several more men join the fight.

The police TMZ The crowd dispersed when police arrived and no arrests were made, no serious injuries were reported, and Trejo does not intend to press charges.

Ernie Abramium spoke to KTTV-TV about the incident’s record.

“It seemed more like he was confrontational. He didn’t go there to punch anybody, but I think he was throwing punches after being punched,” he explained.

“They threw water balloons again. There were fights. People fell down. There was blood everywhere,” Abramiam said.

The second man who was knocked down was one of Trejo’s friends, he said, and the video shows him bleeding through his shirt.

Avramiam shared a message from the community with Trejo.

“I apologize to Danny. I know you’re a good person. I know you’re a humble person. I appreciate you taking the time to come to our Fourth of July parade,” she continued. “And I’m sorry, but on behalf of our community, we love you, we appreciate you, and we say thank you.”

Trejo called the people who threw the water balloons “cowards” and the whole incident “childish.”

Sunland-Tujunga is a neighborhood in Los Angeles with approximately 27,500 residents.

Trejo is best known for his roles in the films From Dusk Till Dawn and Once Upon a Time in Mexico.
