Trump Dismisses Concerns Over Epstein Files
Supporters of the MAGA movement are persistently seeking clarity regarding the government’s mishandling of the Epstein Files. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump is standing firm in his position.
In a recent post on Truth Social, Trump linked the so-called “Russian hoax” and the Epstein scandal to Hunter Biden’s controversial laptop, which he refers to as the “laptop from hell.” He suggests that these issues, in a recurring theme, were all fabricated by Democrats as means to threaten his presidency.
“Americans are feeling quite let down. There’s a sense of betrayal,” Trump noted, criticizing Democrats for their handling of various issues. He claimed, “They excel at scams and hoaxes—that’s about it. It’s clear they struggle with governance, policy-making, and finding suitable candidates.”
Trump did not hold back when addressing the legacy media and even some of his own supporters who are skeptical about the Epstein narrative. He labeled them as “weaks” and indicated that he no longer seeks their backing.
In another declaration, he referred to the Epstein situation as a perpetual “hoax,” asserting that his former supporters have seemingly “swallowed this nonsense hook, line, and sinker,” failing to learn from their past experiences over several years.
“I feel I’ve accomplished more in six months than this president has in his entire term,” Trump added. “These folks are caught up in the Epstein narrative, pushed by the Democrats who have capitalized on fake news and misinformation instead of focusing on actual success.”
Though Trump is advocating for Republicans to move past the Epstein allegations, numerous lawmakers expressed to Blaze News their desire for greater transparency regarding the issue.
“This is something we need to address; America deserves answers,” one Republican legislator from Tennessee remarked. “I have faith that President Trump will understand this need.”
“The feelings of disappointment and betrayal among the American people are palpable,” noted Missouri Republican Rep. Eric Burrison. “This situation is not going away anytime soon.”
