Aaron Judge Reflects on Fame and Faith
Aaron Judge, the star player of the New York Yankees, is not only known for his athletic prowess but also for his strong faith. When asked about the impact of fame and success, the 33-year-old had a thoughtful response, emphasizing the significance of his relationship with Jesus Christ.
“He has given me this platform, this ability. Fame is wonderful, but it doesn’t compare to my relationship with Him,” Judge shared. He underlined that a genuine relationship with faith can address many of life’s challenges.
His faith was visibly important, even during his preparations for the MLB All-Star Game. For example, the bat he used was painted blue and had the name “Nora” inscribed, alongside a Bible verse, 2 Corinthians 5:7, which reads, “For we live by faith, not by sight.”
Currently, Judge is having an impressive season, boasting a batting average of .355, hitting 35 home runs, and achieving 81 RBIs while delivering strong performances in the field.
Though the Yankees have slid from the top spot in the American League East, they still hold a wild card spot. It’s clear that the team is counting on Judge to maintain his exceptional form as they aim for the playoffs.
In the midst of his achievements, Judge continues to highlight the essence of faith over fame, reflecting a personal belief that goes beyond statistics.
