Florida GOP MP Corey Mills has found himself at the center of multiple allegations, including claims of stolen valor, ethical concerns regarding his business dealings, reports of a secret conversion to Islam, and accusations of domestic abuse.

In a recent discussion, Jill Savage and Christopher Bedford, who hosts “Blaze News: The Mandate,” alongside Matthew Peterson from Blaze News, analyzed the ongoing controversies surrounding Mills.

Mills’ monthly rent for a penthouse in Washington, D.C. is reported to be around $21,000, while his Florida rental properties cost roughly $12,000 a month. This leads to a staggering estimated annual expense of about $400,000, as noted by Jill.

Bedford suggests that to afford such rates, Mills must be “substantially independent and wealthy.” Financial disclosures reveal that Mills has gained significant wealth through his involvement with defense contractors like Pacem Solutions International and Pacem Defense.

However, Jill raises questions about Mills’ claim that he sells from these companies and places them into a “blind trust.” When pressed for more details during a conversation with Blaze Media’s Peter Gietl, Mills seemed evasive, stating he couldn’t recall details from four years prior.

“Are you being sold or paying money, and you can’t tell me how much?” she inquires. Peterson humorously speculated, “Maybe he just forgot to pay the rent. He can’t remember anything crucial.” Still, he noted that this could indicate something suspicious.

Mills defends his late rent payments by citing a breach in the online payment system he uses. Bedford responds skeptically, stating, “Technical glitches on their website shouldn’t lead to eviction from a penthouse.” He adds that while he’s never lived in such luxury, it doesn’t seem to offer that kind of service.
