Prince George Celebrates 12th Birthday with Family Photos

On Tuesday, Kate Middleton and Prince William unveiled new photos of their son, Prince George, in honor of his 12th birthday.

“Happy Prince George’s 12th birthday!” the royal couple captioned the image shared on social media platforms.

The photo features George, with his arms crossed and a smile, leaning against a wooden fence near a country house in Anmer Hall, dressed in a fleece vest over a white shirt.

The official royal account also chimed in, wishing Prince George a very happy birthday!

Captured by royal photographer Josh Sinner, the image showcases George’s playful side. Sinner has a long history of photographing the royal children.

Born on July 22, 2013, at 4:24 PM at St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, Prince George Alexander Louis is the future king.

This year, he has been more prominent than ever, stepping into the public eye as a vital member of the royal family.

His first public appearance this year was alongside his father at a UEFA Champions League match in Paris on April 9th.

The event was a casual moment, rather than an official royal duty, but it delighted fans who witnessed the father-son duo enjoying their shared interest in football.

George’s official royal debut in 2025 took place on May 5, where he joined family members at a military ceremony for VE Day, marking a significant occasion.

Not only did he participate in the proceedings, but he also appeared on the Palace Balcony to watch a RAF flypast before enjoying tea with World War II veterans.

June saw George shine again at King Charles’ official birthday celebration, joining his family on the balcony once more to witness the festivities.

He also joined his mother and brother in a royal carriage for a military parade, showcasing a strong family presence.

Recently, he surprised tennis fans by making an unexpected appearance at Wimbledon with his sister and parents, where they cheered for the finalists, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.

Earlier this month, George’s younger sister, Princess Charlotte, celebrated her 10th birthday. To commemorate her special day, the royal couple shared a charming photo taken during a windy hike, showing Charlotte in a camouflage outfit with a backpack.

“Happy 10th birthday, Princess Charlotte!” they posted, further highlighting the close-knit family moments shared by the royal family.
