Founders of the World Economic Forum (WEF) have faced allegations of orchestrating Brexit to manipulate research, suggesting it poses risks to the UK economy.
An investigation led by the Homerberger law firm has reportedly accused Klaus Schwab, the former WEF chair, of facilitating the alteration of economic studies to promote his political interests.
As reported by the Swiss newspaper Sonntags Zeitung, the architects behind “The Great Reset” are alleged to have directly influenced the 2017/18 WEF Global Competitiveness Report to downplay any positive outlook for the UK economy after the 2016 EU referendum.
Upon discovering that the UK’s competitiveness had improved post-Brexit, Schwab allegedly instructed WEF staff to ensure the report did not reflect this progress.
While the WEF report states that Brexit hasn’t yet had a significant effect, it also claims that it “will, by definition, weaken the UK market.” In this report, the UK economy was ranked as the eighth most competitive globally.
During that period, Brexit was anything but settled, and fears of economic decline were frequently cited, especially in discussions regarding the possibility of a second referendum to reverse the UK’s decision to leave the EU.
There was a clear sentiment among European globalists that the UK should face economic hardships as it distanced itself from the EU, especially since other member states hadn’t followed London’s departure from Brussels.
Interestingly, Brexit is often viewed in the context of Donald Trump’s first presidential election, seen as a significant setback for Schwab’s WEF and the broader globalist agenda.
Brexit advocates and reformers in the UK, like Nigel Farage, have remarked that “All conspiracy theories about Klaus Schwab have now turned out to be true. He is a dangerous globalist manipulator.”
Richard Tice, a significant figure in the Brexiteer movement, expressed similar sentiments.
Lord Frost, who represented the UK in Brexit negotiations with the EU, commented:
“The scrutiny surrounding Schwab’s deliberate downgrading of Brexit Britain in his global competitiveness report contrasts sharply with actual evidence, reflecting a deep-rooted public distrust of independence and an effort to suppress discussions about its benefits.”
Alongside the alleged efforts to shape perceptions around Brexit, Schwab is accused of portraying Prime Minister Narendra Modi as having a stronger economy and of pressuring staff to attend WEF’s elite globalist gatherings in Swiss ski resort towns.
The investigation was prompted by whistleblower allegations of financial and sexual misconduct related to Schwab. He has categorically denied these accusations.
