The sisters of Kaylee Goncalves, a victim of the University of Idaho murders, expressed their emotions strongly during Brian Coberger’s sentencing. They described feeling a mix of fear and determination while confronting him.

“Honestly, I’m not scared of him,” one sister remarked in an interview. She shared her unexpected feelings when addressing Coberger during the court proceedings, saying her encounter felt surreal, almost like meeting an alien. In her opinion, there was a lack of humanity behind his eyes.

Despite the overwhelming nature of the situation, Goncalves was resolved to remember her sister Kaylee, along with Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin, who were also victims in this tragic case. “After that day, all I felt was rage,” she admitted, expressing how the events have affected her.
