Paul suggests Jill Biden and Anthony Fauci may be examined in autopen investigation.

On Sunday, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) stated that former First Lady Jill Biden and Anthony Fauci will be scrutinized during Congress’ investigations into autopen signatures.

President Trump has taken a stand against his predecessor, former President Biden.

In June, the president initiated an inquiry into several amnesty signatures, prompting GOP lawmakers to request that former White House officials testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. Some even invoked their Fifth Amendment rights during this process.

While speaking on WABC 770 AM during John Catsimatidis’s radio show, Paul commented, “Although Anthony Fauci received a pardon, questions remain about its legality, especially since it wasn’t signed by President Biden.”

He expressed uncertainty regarding President Biden’s awareness of the situation, suggesting he may not fully grasp who he is pardoning. “There have been numerous instances where pardons were issued via mechanical signatures, with machines involved that have never communicated with the president,” Paul noted.

Biden has maintained that previous administrations also utilized autopens to sign official documents, claiming this practice is legally sound. Nevertheless, Republicans continue to criticize the authenticity of his multiple pardons.

Paul remarked, “It seems we weren’t under Joe Biden’s guidance, but rather under a chief of staff connected to his wife. This is vital information for many Americans to realize—he has been granted pardon powers while not being elected.”

To navigate this issue, Paul believes legal proceedings are necessary. He suggested that the best approach would be to indict Anthony Fauci for allegedly lying to Congress.

Additionally, he highlighted that the autopen wasn’t used for Hunter Biden’s amnesty. “There’s reason to doubt the legitimacy of these pardons. Interestingly, when it came to pardoning his son, it wasn’t done via the autopen,” Paul commented.

According to him, Hunter Biden received a personal pardon for his decade-old crimes, which was hand-signed by the president, rather than through the mechanical process.
