Princess Charlotte unexpectedly joins Prince William at Euro 2025

Lioness Captures the Heart of Princess Charlotte’s Fans

Princess Charlotte, the 10-year-old daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton, was spotted enjoying a match between the British women’s soccer team and Spain during the 2025 UEFA European Women’s Championship in Switzerland alongside her father.

In a charming navy blue polka dot dress, Charlotte beamed in a photo shared on Will and Kate’s official Instagram. William, looking dapper in a black suit and striped tie, proudly embraced his daughter.

The caption simply read, “Let’s go Lioness!”

Later, Prince William posted a picture of himself and Charlotte with members of the Spanish team on his Instagram stories, expressing support with a message, “Take the second half! May the best team win!” Throughout the game, Charlotte appeared quite serious yet enthusiastic, fully engaged in the action.

Before the championship, William frequently shared his support for British football teams on social media. Just the day before, he posted a message of encouragement: “Good luck, Lioness tomorrow. This country is proud to have you made it to the final after some incredible comebacks! We’re all rooting for you!”

Charlotte seems to share her parents’ love for sports. Just earlier this month, she surprised everyone with an appearance at Wimbledon alongside her family, including her older brother, Prince George, who is 12.

While she seems comfortable in the public eye, there are reports that William and Kate are wary of the challenges that might come with being a royal, especially in light of Prince Harry’s experiences as the “reserve” heir to the throne. Royal biographer Robert Hardman mentioned that the late Queen Elizabeth II was always conscious of the difficulties associated with that position.
