Lindsay Lohan Discusses Leaving Hollywood for Dubai
Lindsay Lohan, now 39, recently opened up about her decision to move from Hollywood to Dubai. The actress, who spent her early career constantly in the limelight, shared how she’s now enjoying a more “normal life” away from the pressures of Los Angeles.
During her appearance, Lohan stated, “It’s far from Hollywood, and I’m living a very normal life.” She lives with her family and feels a sense of safety in her current environment.
One of the significant changes she highlighted was the difference in privacy. She mentioned, “If you’re in a restaurant, you can’t even take a photo of someone else without asking them. This is a huge difference. Privacy is unique here.”
Life in Dubai vs. Los Angeles
Lohan has previously expressed how the constant attention in Los Angeles was a source of stress, especially when it came to spending time with her son. “In LA, it’s a challenge to go to the park without worrying about cameras. In New York, it’s more about people doing their own thing,” she reflected, noting that the energy in New York feels quite different, even if she prefers the space LA offers.
However, she finds that in Dubai, she can enjoy all those aspects simultaneously: “I get privacy, peace, and space. There’s no need to worry. I feel safe.”
Reflections on Fame
She emphasized her desire for a life that would allow her to escape that scrutiny, believing that if there’s no story, the attention will fade. “If there’s no narrative to chase, they will focus on my work instead.”
Family First
Family is, of course, at the core of her priorities now. “That’s the most important thing: my husband, my son, me,” she said, underlining the need for balance in daily life. “Especially with kids, their routines come first, and I have to adapt to that.”
