Fans came together to honor Ozzy Osbourne in a public funeral procession this Wednesday in his hometown of Birmingham, England.

The spirit hearse, carrying the legendary Rock figure, traveled down Broad Street, where thousands of mourners left flowers and heartfelt messages in memory of the rock star.

People lined the streets, tossing flowers over the hearse and chanting, “Ozzy! Ozzy! Ozzy!” The atmosphere was filled with emotion and celebration.

Adding to the somber occasion, Brasquin integrat Bostin Brass accompanied the procession.

Sharon Osbourne, looking frail yet dignified, along with their children—Amy, Kelly, and Jack—stepped out of the car to take a moment. They faced the crowd, offering signs of peace before retreating back into the car, visibly moved.

This public tribute, organized by the Osbourne family, preceded a more private funeral.

City mayor Zafar Iqbal expressed the significance of the event, stating, “Ozzy was more than a musical legend. He was Birmingham’s son.” He emphasized the importance of giving the city an appropriate tribute before the family’s private farewell, especially after Ozzy’s notable appearance at a concert earlier this month.

Iqbal acknowledged how deeply this moment resonated with fans around the world.

“We are proud to host this here with his beloved family where it all began,” he added. “We are grateful that they have made it possible for this to happen and generously funded it.”

Ozzy Osbourne, who battled Parkinson’s disease and faced challenges after a near-fatal accident in 2003, passed away on July 22 at the age of 76, despite efforts by emergency services.

In the immediate aftermath, his family shared a heartfelt statement, saying, “We have more grief than we can tell you that we must report that our beloved Ozzy Osborne passed away this morning,” adding that he was surrounded by love and family.

In addition to his children with Sharon, Ozzy also had Lewis Osbourne from his first marriage to Thelma Riley and a daughter, Jessica, from another previous relationship.
