Justin Timberlake’s Health Update After Tour Conclusion
Los Angeles – Singer Justin Timberlake has wrapped up his long-awaited tour, taking a moment to share a personal health update with his fans.
In a reflective post on Instagram, Timberlake expressed his feelings about the past two years, stating that summarizing the tour has been a challenging endeavor. He described the experience as a blend of joy, emotion, and physical demand, and admitted that after over 30 years in the industry, it felt quite surreal.
The “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” artist noted that he’s typically a private individual, but felt it necessary to share some of his personal struggles with his audience.
“I’ve been dealing with health issues and was diagnosed with Lyme disease,” he revealed. “I’m not looking for sympathy, but I want to be open about what’s happening with me.” Timberlake shared his shock upon receiving the diagnosis, which clarified for him the reasons behind his intense fatigue and discomfort.
He faced a tough choice: to stop the tour or push through. Ultimately, he opted to continue despite the challenges, emphasizing the mental strength he built and the unforgettable moments he shared with fans during that time. He acknowledged that he had always been taught to keep such matters private, yet he feels a need to be more transparent about his battles.
By sharing his story, he hopes to help others who may be going through similar experiences. “I want to connect with anyone else suffering from this disease,” he said.
This recent tour marked Timberlake’s seventh major concert series and was his first in five years, coinciding with the release of his latest album.
